History On/Off Switch is a Chrome extension that allows you to selectively enable/disable browsing and downloads history. It also allows you to permanently block specific URL patterns. With this extension, you can clear tabs history on close, clear interrupted/completed downloads history, and permanently block user-given keyword/URL regex patterns.
