Features & Capabilities

Ember PDF gives you a full set of PDF tools without ever sending your documents to a server. You open the toolkit, drop in your files, and everything happens on your own device. There is no upload, no account, and no waiting on someone else's servers.

What Ember PDF does

Ember PDF handles the everyday PDF jobs that usually push you toward a website that wants your files first. Combine documents, break them apart, shrink their size, turn pages into images, or pull out the text, all from one clean workspace in your browser.

Features

  • Merge PDFs: combine several documents into one file, in the exact order you set.
  • Split PDFs: break a long document into smaller files by a page count you choose.
  • Extract pages: pull out specific pages or page ranges into a fresh PDF.
  • Rotate pages: turn pages in quarter steps to fix sideways or upside-down scans.
  • Resize pages: fit pages to a new size while keeping the text selectable.
  • Compress PDFs: reduce file size with a lossless option that preserves selectable text, or a stronger option that shrinks further, with a clear warning before it runs.
  • PDF to images: save each page as a PNG or JPG image.
  • Images to PDF: build a new PDF from a set of images, one image per page.
  • Extract text: copy the plain text out of a PDF for reuse elsewhere.
Ember PDF also keeps the work smooth. Drag files in or pick them from your computer, reorder them before you run a job, and get multi-file results bundled into a single download instead of a flood of separate saves. When an operation would drop annotations or make text unselectable, you see a plain warning first so there are no surprises.

Who it's for

  • Anyone who needs to merge a few documents before sending them off.
  • Students and office workers splitting or trimming reports down to the pages that matter.
  • People who want to shrink a large PDF so it fits an email or upload limit.
  • Anyone who would rather not hand personal or work documents to an unknown website.
Privacy

Your files never leave your device. Every operation runs locally in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and no account is required. Ember PDF does not request permission to access your download folder; saved files use a standard in-page download link.

Ember PDF puts a private, dependable PDF workspace one click away.
