Features & Capabilities

EliChat AI RTL improves Persian and mixed Persian/English text on supported AI chat services and NotebookLM.

A text block containing Persian or Arabic-script characters is automatically displayed RTL and right-aligned, while English-only text remains LTR. Code and mathematical content are kept LTR to preserve their original formatting.

Main features:

Smart RTL/LTR handling for Persian, English, and mixed AI conversations
Persian font selection with bundled Persian fonts
Correct RTL handling for lists, buttons, links, composers, and long/streaming conversations
Smart Copy with Word-ready formatted copy, plain-text copy, and original-site copy
Selection-based English-to-Persian Smart Translate
Translation providers: MyMemory, Google Translate API Key, and Google Cloud Translation
Translation bypass controls such as Ctrl while selecting text

RTL/LTR processing, Persian fonts, and Smart Copy are performed locally in the browser.

Smart Translate is enabled by default on new installations and can be disabled at any time. When translation is used, only the selected text is transmitted to the configured translation provider. EliChat does not transmit the rest of the page, browsing history, chat history, or clipboard content.

No advertising, analytics, tracking, telemetry, or behavioral profiling is included.

This is something I’ve been looking for for a long time, and I’ve finally found it. Beyond just fixing the RTL issue for Arabic and Persian, you can even select the font—which is truly awesome. Most existing RTL add-ons only apply corrections when reading text, but this one handles both reading and writing and adjusts almost all page content; that makes a huge difference when working with AI-generated pages.
