The 'Extension for AWS SSO' is a Chrome plugin specifically designed for AWS IAM Identity Center. It provides various functionalities such as displaying Account Name and Permission Set on the AWS console's header, changing the header color based on the type of account, and bringing favorite accounts to the top on the SSO login page. User reviews

The config is a bit low level and also there is not documentation for it. Besides it does a very nice job. Should be applied by AWS actually, it's so frustrating, that it's 2024 and there is no way in viewing the current SSO account name in a single glance.

Love that this is open source. The usability and safety of working with the AWS console goes way up thanks to this.
