"IPTC Photo Metadata Inspector" is a Chrome extension that allows users to easily view embedded metadata in images. By right-clicking on any image and selecting 'View IPTC Photo Metadata', users can access the IPTC's GetPMD tool. This tool reveals crucial information such as creator, copyright, location, and other metadata present in the image. Note that it requires downloading the image from the web, hence it does not support local files.

Apparently this is an online tool. Wouldn't read my local file. Should say so in the description and save folks the effort of wasting time figuring it out. Also, didn't work with all web sites. Hence, the one star rating.
