What is Force Enable Text Selection?

'Force Enable Text Selection' is a Chrome extension that restores the capability to select text in webpages where this function has been disabled with the 'user-select' CSS property. Initially designed for Chegg Homework, where text selection is disabled, it is effective on any website deploying the same mechanism. However, it doesn't currently work for selection blocked using Javascript.

I made this extension because Chegg Homework disables the text-selection ability for no reason that I can understand. This extension will allow you to select the text in the Homework Help section of their website and anywhere else that this feature has been disabled.

This extension does not enable text selection for websites that have disabled text selection via javascript. I am, however, happy to look into adding this ability if there is a need for it.
