My extension is simple and fast tool for downloading video from Vimeo. All you need is to click the button and Video Saver for Vimeo will do the rest.

After clicking Download a window with resolution options appears. You can download Vimeo video on from any website where it is embedded.

Works brilliantly on my mac. I tried several other downloaders, but they either failed outright, didn't download embedded videos (or only those), or required paid upgrade for higher resolutions. This extension is a breeze to use. Glad I tried it!
