AWS VPN Tab Closer is a Chrome extension designed to detect and close the authentication tab left open by AWS VPN. It activates for tabs using the URL http://127.0.0.1:35001 and immediately closes it when the confirmation message is displayed. This extension eliminates the annoyance of coming back to a window full of unnecessary tabs.

It's always closing the focused tab. i.e. when the authentication is in progress in the browser, if I switch to another tab and start working there, this plugin will actually close that active tab which may lead to loss of important work. This is very (very) dangerous.

Great idea, but if often closes a wrong tab. I have multiple chrome windows open, and this extension is constantly closing the wrong tab (from another window) :(
