What is Download Notifications?

Download Notifications is an opensource Chrome extension that adds notification popups for downloads. It provides notifications for both completed and interrupted downloads, without disabling the download shelf. To disable the download shelf, you can use another recommended extension called Download Notifier. The code for this extension is available on GitHub under GPLV3 license.
