2025-01-02 | en | Its probably wonderful if you like bright light themes, windows that move with the mouse and workflow that is cumbersome requiring some redundant steps in order to use, but for the rest of us, this really doesn't offer any more than devtools (F12) and what it would be good for doesn't seem to be useful unless: 1) something is done about the long class names literally overwriting themselves so you cant read them 2) something is done about that eye-destroying white-background/black-text when a user is using dark mode especially, particularly, monumentally bad on qled monitors where white is about the same as the lord of darkness being blown away by a torrent of holy light :3 3) something is done about the interface which is all but unusable on semi-mobile and full mobile screen dimensions 4) something is done about the font size that ends up being either way too big or way too small even at 2k. 5) something is done about no custom settings UI being offered for color/size/mode/behavior I'm just gonna say it, the thing that kills it the most is the fact that you not only have to click the button, but said button opens a window (blinding white) that requires you to press ANOTHER button to finally get to it, and then you have to CLOSE said window so it is not in your way, after which you still have to deal with another window that moves around with the mouse (which can be quite distracting if you are used to static interfaces). But the classnames are usually long enough and there's only one line so the text just runs right back over itself making it unreadable unless you press a key to copy it in which case ANOTHER window pops up where you not only have to copy the text yourself, but also close THAT other window. The one redeeming thing is that you only have to press escape at the end.... So yeah, the only useful feature is already available in other extensions without all the blinding white light :T. Might want to streamline things a bit or at least write a dark css theme because your extension seems to be sandboxed to where a user can not even use stylus to "fix" the style themselves (I'd say no ads would be a pro, but honestly they probably wouldn't have even approved it for the store if it had ads, so I'll leave that out). | ||
