Spartan Ride carries Case Western Reserve University students, faculty and staff around campus and part of University Circle. The app provides access to fixed-route shuttle schedules, as well as on-demand after-hours transportation through Safe Ride, which runs seven days a week between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m.

Riders will be able to locate shuttle stops closest to their location, and identify the quickest and most convenient route.

CWRU security officers drive all on-demand Safe Ride vehicles.

Terrible. The scheduling algorithm seems to have been created by someone who picked up their CompSci degree at the side of a road. What the driver is doing and what the app says are two different things. What is the point exactly? There are no notifications once the ride arrives or once you are next. According to the app, you might be next only to be reassigned when you're ready and standing outside in the cold. Again, scheduling seems to be optimizing to maximize student inconvenience.
