What it does

Notices what's playing in your browser (the title, artist and artwork the site already publishes) and tells the Echo app, so it shows up in your history.
Lets Echo resume a browser track or video for you - reopening the tab and picking up right where you left off.

Private by design

Everything stays on your Mac. The extension talks ONLY to the Echo app running locally on your computer (over localhost). It never sends anything to any external server, and there is no tracking, no analytics, and no accounts.
