Summary

Keep your tabs tidy, so you can stay focused. TabCloser eliminates those pesky leftover tabs from popular service like, Figma, Slack, and Zoom meetings—leaving you with a clean browser and a clear path to productivity.

Next time you click a Figma link from Slack and you open the file in your desktop client, launch a Zoom meeting from your calendar into the Zoom client, open that sad girl Spotify playlist your bestie sent, open that VS Code Live Share link into the desktop client, enjoy browsing a Discord community without worrying about that invite tab still being open, or open those tasks you've been putting off in Asana or Linear, TabCloser let’s you do your thing—when you're back in your browser, your tabs will be nice and tidy.

Wow, this extension actually works, unlike a few other similar ones I tried. Looks like this is the only working solution to close those annoying Join Zoom Meeting browser tabs, so my kudos to the author! One small suggestion though: is it possible to (optionally) disable the '+5 Second New Tab Buffer' setting (or make it customizable), as now it effectively sets the minimum delay to 6 seconds, whereas I'd like to close zoom tabs in 1..2 seconds.

Want to use Slack in a browser window? This extension makes that impossible. Login to your account, see the Slack interface load, and then POOF! The window is suddenly gone. This extension needs to be able to differ between Slack redirect pages and other pages such as the actual app, settings pages, etc.
