Tab Memory Saver Firefox

Tab Memory Saver

Limits active tabs and unloads unused tabs to reduce browser memory usage.

Features & Capabilities

Tab Memory Saver is a browser extension that reduces browser memory usage by unloading the execution state of unused tabs.

The extension limits the number of active tabs and unloads tabs that are not currently in use by using the browser's built-in tab unloading capability. Tabs are not closed, so their tab bar entries and URLs remain available. When the user opens an unloaded tab again, the page is reloaded.

Is Tab Memory Saver Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Tab Memory Saver requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
