When you click on a Google Search result, Google replaces it with a tracking link that leads you over a redirection page on Google's server. This page then redirects you to the original result. This way Google can log which link you clicked.

This extension removes the intermediate step involving the redirection page for click tracking. By clicking a search result you will visit the page directly.
