What is Stock Extension?

Stock Extension is a Chrome extension that shows favourite stocks in a browser icon. It displays the current price of selected stocks with color indication. Use the Yahoo Finance API for stock information. Find ticker names with the format exchange:stockname. E.g. NYSE:SHOP

Tried to add ticker but kept saying add a valid stock. Even tried "NYSE:SHOP" from the description.
