Iron Realms Extension

Does what it needs to, and does it very well. However, it does send character names and passwords via clear text, and not via HTTPS, so there is that........ If they fix this it would warrant 5 stars.

It's really quick access to some things, but would be more useful and convenient if it worked like a toolbar, such as it does in Firefox.

2011-11-27 I went unpacked with this. Reason being, I might be a bit OCD, but I really like all the little badge text to disappear when the read count is 0. I mean, it disappears on Google Reader, Gmail, Silver Bird (Twitter), Google Voice, all that. So why not make it disappear for the IRE button also!? My edit in background.html was: chrome.browserAction.setBadgeText ({ "text": (c == null || c == 0) ? "" : c+"" }); Beautiful now! :) Oh. Also went down to a 30-second poll timer, but that's not as much a suggestion as it is just my own thing. 2018-04-16 This extension is severely outdated. ironrealms.com no longer properly supports character logins, and for a few years this has been forwarding to oldsite.ironrealms.com, which, as it turns out, just stopped working today. Would appreciate some serious upgrades to this, but I may have to hack it in the meantime. 2018-04-19 Right! Guess I should just be patient, as they did say they'd upgrade this shortly after they shut down the old site. Badge still shows 0, but I've learned to live with it, and functionality is back!
