Да ничего он не делает, кроме показа рекламы в своем окне. На любом видео пишет : "YouTube policy does not allow downloading videos directly from YouTube".

Сразу заработало в отличий от других, которые в первый раз не дали скачать видео и проверить вообще работает или нет, и сразу просят подписку в наглую, а также не требует новой версий Chrome в отличий от Cocount. Пока работает, дальше посмотрим, надеюсь также останется, и разработчики оставят расширение бесплатным. Спасибо им !
