Stuttertech

StutterTech is a digital solution developed for people who stutter and want support to work on their speech and self-esteem at their own pace and in their own "space".

The app helps the user to create greater awareness of their own speech situations and provides the opportunity to actively work on self-confidence, courage and communication in everyday life.

StutterTech offers the following:
Guided audio universe: Exercises and techniques within stuttering, metacognition, relaxation and breathing developed in collaboration with professionals. Here the user learns to use techniques that help build self-esteem, acceptance and self-belief.

Reflection: The user uses the exercises and techniques in the real world and gets the opportunity to celebrate their victories in a personal motivational diary with experiences from everyday life as well as work with thoughts, feelings and experiences related to speech.

Mental focus: StutterTech focuses on self-confidence, courage and handling challenging situations and teaches the user to overcome their fears through small daily challenges.

My journey: The user can follow their progression through the “My journey” function, where diary, mood and exercises are saved for personal use.

Who is the app for?
Young people from 13 years of age and up.

People who want to work on their speech.

Users who want a tool between conversations with a speech therapist or speech therapist.

The app can be used independently or as a supplement in speech therapy courses.

Purpose:

The purpose of StutterTech is to strengthen users' work with stuttering in everyday life and create better coherence between professional conversations and the user's independent work and development.

By combining reflection, small challenges and strategies, the app gives the user the opportunity to continuously work on their communication and build greater confidence in speaking situations.

With StutterTech, the user gets their own space where they can safely train – no matter how far along they are on their journey with stuttering.
