Spot og Stop Madspild

Every year, Danes throw away billions of kroner worth of food. We can do better – and it starts here.

Spot and Stop Food Waste helps you find discounted food products that are approaching their expiration date in Netto, Føtex and Bilka. You save money. The food is saved. It's a win-win.

🛒 Find food waste offers near you – nationwide

Open the app and immediately see which discounted food products are available in the stores around you. The app covers Netto, Føtex and Bilka throughout Denmark, so whether you're at home, at work or on the go, there's always a good offer nearby.

Search by zip code, city name or let the GPS find the nearest offers automatically. Filter by store chain and category – whether you're looking for meat, dairy, bread, fruit and vegetables, frozen or beverages. You can also filter by expiration date, so you can decide for yourself whether you want to see items with a long shelf life or only the cheapest offers that need to be used quickly.

Before you leave, you can see the store's opening hours and an overview of how busy the store is typically right now - so you can plan your visit when it suits you best.

Easily switch between list view and map view, so you always have the full overview.

❤️ Save your favorite stores

Add your regular stores as favorites and never miss a good offer again. The app remembers your favorite places and immediately shows you the latest food waste finds the next time you open it.

📋 A smart shopping list

Spot an item you want? Add it directly to your shopping list with one swipe. The app reminds you of your items, and you can easily share the list with the rest of the family via SMS, email, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. - perfect for distributing the purchases.

📊 See your personal footprint

Under "Your purchases" you can keep track of how much food you've saved and how many kroner you've saved. See your savings broken down by category, and follow your own development over time.
