Remix.kwed.org (RKO) is a community for remakes and remixes of C64 music.

RKO2GO for Android accesses the full RKO remix database and enables you to play remixes, read community feedback and download to your local media library. RKO2GO can also operate in offline mode, when remixes have been downloaded locally.

Notes on required permissions:

RECORD_AUDIO
Required by the real-time visual spectrum analyzer which utilizes the android.media.audiofx.Visualizer class.

MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS
Also required by the Visualizer in order to connect to the main audio output, which is required for some Beats Audio enabled devices.

READ_PHONE_STATE
Required for pausing playback on incoming call.

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Required to re-schedule the "new remix"-scanner after reboot.

WAKE_LOCK
Required to briefly wake up the device when checking for new remixes. This will occur daily or once a week depending on the current selected settings.

My favourite app by far! Perfect way to stay updated on new remixes, amd even lets you have a downloaded playlist handy. * A possibility to add comments and smileys from the actual app instead of logging in to the rko webpage would be brilliant!

Why does this app need permission to access the microphone and keeps asking about it everytime you play a song? You can deny the rights and it still plays, but it will nag you everytime. Quick update: Thanks for the reply. It doesn't even nag once every open but once before playing any song (complaining that access is disabled without asking again). I gave it storage access manually but kept microphone disabled.
