When the old king died and left no clear heir the kingdom shattered.
Now every rival lord marches to reunite it under their own banner. And so do you!

CLAIM AND HOLD
Every tile you own pays income each turn; every unit you raise spends it. Push too hard and your treasury collapses before your army arrives. Wait too long and a rival outgrows you.

UNITS WITH A PURPOSE
Peasants, warriors, swordsmen and knights take ground. Bowmen strike from behind the line while infantry holds the tile. Towers and castles cost more the more of them you build, so fortifying everything is never the answer.

BUILD YOUR REALM
Found cities to raise your income, then add fields, sawmills and mines within their reach. Cities must stand four tiles apart, so think carefully about their placement.

WATCH YOUR BORDERS
A large realm pays an administrative penalty, so make sure your income keeps up. Lose a building or unit and rebels rise up from the ruins. Bridges carry your armies over across water.

PLAY YOUR WAY
Set map size, opponents and difficulty from Easy to Expert. Turn individual systems — rebels, improvements, ranged units, admin burden — on or off in Settings.
