Functionalfoods

Functional Foods is your Danish app for weight loss with a meal plan, food log and shopping in one flow.

Instead of generic diet plans, we build your week based on real offers in the stores you actually shop in - and help you log what you eat so that the numbers match reality.

WHY FUNCTIONAL FOODS?
Most meal plans ignore what is on sale and what you actually eat the rest of the day.
We start with your everyday life: weight loss goals, eating style, allergies, opt-outs, family and activity - more than 30 parameters - and connect it to Danish nutritional data and current prices in the store. The result is a plan you can live with Monday to Sunday.

MEAL PLAN BASED ON OFFERS (FOOD BUDGET)
• Generate personal meal plans week by week
• The plan is built on next week's offers in your favorite stores (including Netto, Bilka, Føtex, REMA 1000, MENY, Spar, Lidl, Nemlig.com, etc.)
• Direct integration to real offer data - no guessing from a chatbot!
• See the week as a whole with calories and macros per day and for the whole week
• Change recipes, lock favorites and adjust the number of meals per day
• Shopping list with quantities, prices and offers - ready for the store
• Send the shopping list by SMS with a check in the store order
• Share the list with partner or family - one plan, several people can shop
• Synchronize the meals of the meal plan to the food diary - log only the extra

The precise functions of the app:
FOOD DIARY & FOOD LOGGER
- Log everything you eat - not just the dinner from the plan
- Take a picture of the dish: the app estimates calories and nutrition
- Speak the meal: say e.g. «skyr with a handful of berries» - the app enters it
- Choose recipes directly from the library
- See calories, macro and micronutrients against your personal goal
- Weekly nutrition review: compare this week and last week
- Steps and active burning from the phone's data - automatically in the diary (with permission)
