KeyBox Aps is a Danish company that works to optimize solutions within primarily the construction industry and at the management's discretion other relevant industries. The company is run by a small organization on Zealand with strong connections to experts in the areas that the management thinks are necessary. The company has extensive knowledge of the construction industry over the past 15 years and has over the years gained extensive experience in handling keys in the workplace. Therefore, in 2020, the management chose to develop a key app for the construction industry as the first company in Scandinavia - perhaps worldwide. The key app is the solution that has been in demand for many years - namely an easy and significantly cheaper solution to have the full overview of which contractor is in possession of exactly the key that another contractor needs to be able to complete or further renovate a specific apartment and / or property.
With KeyBox, not only does the main contractor gain knowledge about the key - where it is, who has had it, who last passed it on - the individual craftsmen who are on the project itself also gain knowledge about it. These things are a significant factor for everyone on a construction project - that you can quickly get the information about - where is the key.
KeyBox saves money, provides an overview and saves time and is the modern solution to get the overview that no one has when it comes to keys.
KeyBox has been developed in collaboration with two large and leading main contractors in Denmark. It has been underway for 6 months and is expected to launch in mid-November 2020.
The company intends to further develop the app for other markets such as the rest of Scandinavia and Germany. At the same time, the management is focusing on expanding the App to be able to support other industries than just the construction industry.
