The CustomOffice system is located in the cloud, but the mobile platform is designed to work offline in areas without mobile coverage.

The app uses the GPS module of the handheld devices to document where specific work has been done. GPS coordinates can be used to get an overview of where colleagues are and to place specific workplaces.
