RecForge II Pro is a professional, ad-free voice recorder and dictaphone for Android. It provides manual gain control, optional AGC disabling, live level previews, real-time monitoring, spectrum analysis, background recording and notification controls. Record with built-in or external microphones in WAV, FLAC, MP3, M4A, OGG, WMA, Opus, Speex and other formats, with sample rates up to 48 kHz.

Designed for interviews, lectures, podcasts, rehearsals, field recording, nature sounds, voice notes and transcription, the app also includes a built-in player with looping, speed, pitch and tempo controls. Edit recordings by cutting, cropping, merging or converting files, manage metadata, organize recordings in folders and share them with other apps or cloud storage. Recording quality and manual gain availability depend on the Android device and microphone hardware.

Cons

Frequent crashing and instability issues
Recent updates have caused functionality problems
Ads still present despite paying for the pro version
Loss of recordings or access to them during updates
Widgets functionality has been removed or is non-functional

Recent reviews

Pro version doesn't work on Samsung S10. Only free version 1.2.8.4g and earlier work. Later versions do not work. Refunded sadly. 5 stars if only it would work.

It's such a shame, this used to be the best audio recorder around but it became difficult to work out how to start a recording to, now, not working at all. 😭 Please make it great again 🙏
