DigInterface Tools

By: Jaco
DNS lookup, email header analysis, SSL, blacklist, WHOIS, SPF & propagation checks — right from your toolbar.

Features & Capabilities

DigInterface Tools brings the DNS, email, and network utilities from diginterface.com straight into your browser toolbar — no need to open a new tab for a quick lookup.

What it does:

  • DNS Lookup — query A, AAAA, MX, NS, CNAME, TXT, SOA, PTR, SRV, CAA, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for any domain
  • Email Header Analyser — paste raw email headers to see SPF/DKIM/DMARC/ARC authentication results and relay hop timing at a glance
  • SSL Checker — certificate expiry, issuer, SANs, and TLS version for any domain
  • Blacklist Checker — check a domain or IP against 15+ major DNSBL/RBL lists
  • WHOIS Lookup — domain registration or IP/ASN ownership details
  • SPF Expander — flatten an SPF record into its resolved IP ranges and see your DNS lookup count
  • DNS Propagation — check how a DNS change has propagated across public resolvers worldwide

Right-click, anywhere: Select a domain or IP on any page and look it up instantly. Select raw email headers and analyse them without leaving the page. Right-click a link to check where it actually points before you click it. Right-click any page to check its domain.

Requires a free DigInterface account and API key (takes under a minute to set up) — generate one from your account dashboard with the dns and email scopes.

Is DigInterface Tools Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

DigInterface Tools requires very minimum permissions.

Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.

DigInterface Tools is recently added, and hasn't been around long enough for us to gather enough data to accurately assess its risk level.
