Fixbook: Repair Job Tracker

Appointments, quotes, deposits, who still owes you: stop keeping it in your head or on scraps of paper. Fixbook is a job book for electricians, plumbers, HVAC and appliance repair technicians, motorbike mechanics and handymen. Keep your appointments, quotes (estimates), payments and customer debts in one place. No account, works without internet: your data stays on your device.

Appointments and today's jobs
• See what is on today, the next 7 days, quotes still unanswered and the total owed to you
• Each job has a status: quote, scheduled, done or canceled
• A warning when two appointments on the same day are less than 60 minutes apart
• Reminders before an appointment (60 minutes by default), for quotes awaiting an answer, unpaid jobs and customers to contact again
• All reminders need notification permission and may not fire at the exact minute; the morning summary can be turned off
• Today also lists appointments whose day has passed and adds up the materials for today and tomorrow

Quotes and PDF receipts
• Add labor and material lines, fractional quantities such as 2.5 meters of wire, a discount and a deposit
• Save your own price list and tap an item to fill in a new line (the app does not include any prices)
• Make a quote or receipt as a PDF and share it by Zalo, email and more
• The PDF shows your name and phone from Settings, and your payment details until everything is paid; a quote also shows how long it is valid and the deposit, if any

Payments and debts
• Record a deposit, the balance and any further payments, in cash or by bank transfer
• The Money screen shows who owes you how much and since when
• VietQR bank-transfer QR codes: pick a bank, enter your account number, and the amount due is filled in for your customer to scan (Vietnamese dong only)

Customers, equipment and warranty
• Keep each customer's name, phone number, address and notes; call, text or open the map with a tap, plus a Zalo button when the app is in Vietnamese
• Record the equipment you installed at a home (brand, model, location) and see the work done on it
• Set warranty days for each job; while the warranty is active, create a warranty visit right away
• Remind yourself to get back in touch after a few months, for example a regular air-conditioner cleaning, then create a new job from the old one

Income and expenses
• Money received this month, jobs done, materials cost and profit (profit = value of done jobs minus the materials you entered a cost for)
• Add costs such as fuel and tools to see the profit left after costs
• A 6-month chart, yearly totals and your 5 customers who paid the most this year
• Export records and expenses as CSV files

Photos and messages
• Attach up to 6 photos to each job: before, after, receipts for materials
• Message templates to confirm an appointment, say you are on your way, follow up a quote and ask for payment; edit the wording to sound like you
• Fixbook never sends anything by itself: it opens the drafted message so you can choose Zalo or SMS

Your data and ads
• Fixbook has no server of its own; your data is on your phone (Android may back it up to your own Google account if you turn that on)
• Back up customers, jobs, payments, photos, expenses, equipment and price list to one file for a new phone (save it to Google Drive or send it to yourself)
• Settings such as business details, bank account and message wording must be entered again
• Free, with ads shown by Google AdMob; AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, which you can reset (or delete, on Android 12 and later) in Android's privacy settings, an approximate location from your IP address and how you use the ads
• Works without internet (except ads, Zalo and the privacy-policy link); follows your phone's light or dark theme
