Most prayer apps calculate times from your location. Your mosque announces its own, and the two rarely match. When the jamaat is at 1:30 but the app says 12:52, the app stops being useful — you end up checking the noticeboard at the masjid instead.

Namaz Widgets puts your masjid prayer times on your home screen, on a board drawn to look like the LED panel hanging in the mosque itself.

WHY NAMAZ WIDGETS?

It is built for people who pray at one particular mosque and want that mosque's timetable rather than a general calculation. If your masjid moves Isha to 8:00 for the winter, you type 8:00 and every board updates.

The widget is the whole point. Prayer times are something you check several times a day and read for two seconds. Opening an app for that is friction, and a prayer times widget removes it.

The boards are drawn to look like the real thing — seven-segment digits, the red and the green, the dot beside the next prayer, the countdown row. If you grew up glancing at a board like that on the wall, this will feel familiar.

Nothing leaves your phone. The app requests no location permission and no account, because it needs neither — you supply the times.
