| 2024-12-30 | 5 stars for sure! It's very useful and you can create pokemon teams and the whole app is just so simple and awsome no signing in no logging in nothing! It just takes you straight to the app you don't even need a username it's so awesome and you also get to test your team in battle mode and you can create pokemon trainers teams from the anime and battle them but the only thing is that I'd really appreciate if they added gen 9 at least add starters but other than that its a good app!, | ||

| 2024-12-03 | I love this app, it doesn't have Scarlet/Violet pokemon in it, which is odd since it's been a while since gen 9 came out, but then again, that is the most hated Gen right now. I have the free version, so ads and limited teams, but otherwise really great! I always use this app for type matchups or to find a pokemon I really really want. It has so much useful information it is honestly my #1 favorite source. | ||

| 2024-10-10 | Super useful tool if you play Pokémon frequently. I've been using the team builder for a few years and it's super convenient to have it basically at a button's press to help me remember my plan. I have not used the other tools much but I assume they all work well and are useful as well. The fact it's been up to date while other team builders go defunct is another fact I love about this app. | ||

| 2023-08-19 | I love this app! It has all the information that one might need for whatever reason. It has a list of all pokemon, moves, items, and abilities (up to gen. 8). I've found a problem with the Dragons Maw ability (causes phone to crash when clicked on). I would rate 5 stars but the developer has stated that there were no more updates so anything past Gen. 8 isn't going to be on here. Other than that it's a great app! | ||

| 2023-06-18 | A really good and useful app. I mainly use it to map out teams but it's so much more than that. It's neat especially since it accounts for abilities in the type charts. Stuff like levitate and sap sipper that gives a mon an extra immunity. You can also search based on type combo which is super handy if you need to find the best coverage and you're drawing a blank. The only thing is that it is a bit slow to add newer Pokémon to the database. I recommend a placeholder mon that you can customize. | ||

| 2023-03-21 | Contacting the app's developer gets this auto respond email: "Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, there are no current plans to update PokeType. This app first launched in 2013, thanks for your support over the years." So unless that changes, no Gen 9. That said, through Gen 8, it's incredibly robust. Just about all the info you could want. Move sets, levels learned, tmhm list, locations, egg moves, breeding data, item info, ability list, stat records, maps... Wonderful app. | ||

| 2023-02-09 | It does what I need it to do overall. Some things could be tweaked like an item dropbox in the team builder. Enjoy having this info without needing on an internet connection. It has since stopped being supported now and therefore it is no longer up to date as of scarlet and violets release but I still use it for older generation pokemon. | ||

| 2022-03-28 | the app has been useful with team planning for several game but some of the moves that a few pokemon I looked up and a few moves it should know not show up and others that the pokemon doesn't actually learn. also I've been having a problem when I change the settings to 6/7 gen and oras movesets, the app crashes whenever I check out the tm's the pokemon learn. overall great experience just a few bugs is all | ||

| 2022-02-05 | This app is just great, but I'd like to suggest two enhancements: (i) add the items for team build; (ii) improve the battle against AI, by allowing items and abilities, otherwise, some pokemon are very weak without items/abilities so this type of battle doesn't fulfil its purpose. Edit: when checking the ability "Dragon's Maw" the app crashes. | ||

| 2022-01-21 | This is a very good and well thought out app. It's comprehensive, intuitive and overall just amazing. My only complaint is that it only has everything that's up current content. For example, there are only maps for gens 3, 5 and 7. You can also only find learned move sets and tm/hm list for the current generation. I'm an old school fan and I enjoy looking for information that is relevant to the generation of when it was released. | ||
