Browse what's worth watching, save what catches your eye to one calm, local watchlist, and see where it's actually streaming in your country. That's the whole product. No algorithm trying to guess your mood louder than you can. No mystery recommendation queue. No social graph.

What you get

• Movies and TV shows from a global catalogue, with poster, synopsis, runtime, rating, and cast.
• Watch providers per title, scoped to your region — so the answer to "is this on Netflix in Germany?" takes one tap, not five.
• A single watchlist that lives on your device. Add anything, remove anything, no account.
• Search, filter by genre and year, sort by what matters to you.
• Region picker in Settings — DE, US, UK, JP, anywhere — so the providers list reflects where you actually are.
• Dark and light themes that follow your system setting.
• Material You on Android, native Compose UI throughout.

What it doesn't do

• No ads. None planned.
• No tracking. No analytics on what you browse or watch.
• No login, no account, no email harvesting.
• No infinite scroll, no engagement loops, no "you might also like" feed.
• No mystery sync — your watchlist stays on your device.

Honest disclosures

• Crash reports (opt-in): if you enable crash reporting in Settings, anonymised diagnostics are sent to Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix bugs faster. Off by default. Can be turned off any time.
• Movie data: powered by The Movie Database (TMDB). Smoovie uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
• Network: requests for movie data go through our own server-side proxy, which never sees your identity — just the title you're looking up.
