Stair & Balustrade Calculator

I am a 3D cad designer as well as a specialist for stairs and balustrades. People make stairs without thinking about the balustrade. So many mistakes are made and customers are unhappy because of that.

EXAMPLE: A company make only concrete stairs. They made the main corner stairs for an expensive house. The stairs width was only 780mm. We need to glue spindles into treads (100 mmm from tread finish edge), width of handrail is 50mm. From edge of handrail to wall was only 650 mm. Of course customer did not like it. The hired us to repair stairs. We designed 3D model of stairs and balustrade. Cut all the parts on cnc water-jet machine and extended treads for 170mm. Job was far from perfect but match better than before. If we did all the work from the start customer will get perfect product for less money.
