Runestone Puzzle

Runestone Puzzle is a tile-matching solitaire game set in the world of Norse mythology. Match pairs of rune-carved tiles across layered boards to clear each level.

GAMEPLAY
Tap matching pairs of free tiles to remove them from the board. A tile is free when nothing covers it from above and at least one side is open. Tiles stack across multiple layers —
plan ahead to uncover deeper matches. Some tiles are face-down and must be tapped to reveal their hidden symbol. Matched tiles fly to a cache tray that holds up to 4 tiles — fill it and
it's game over. Combo matches within 2 seconds build your multiplier up to 3×, and streaks earn bonus points.

INFINITE LEVELS
Every level is procedurally generated from a unique seed — the same level number always produces the same board. Over 20 layout templates (pyramids, crosses, spirals, and more) are
transformed with rotations, flips, and scaling for endless variety. Difficulty scales gradually: early levels feature small boards with 2–3 layers, while later levels grow to 4–5 layers
with more tile types.

Match tiles featuring 24 Elder Futhark runes and 255 Viking-themed icons — from battle axes and longships to mead halls, Mjölnir, and Yggdrasil.

POWER-UPS
• Shuffle — Rearrange all tile types on the board
• Hint — Highlights the best matching pair to play next
• Undo — Returns the last tile from the cache to the board
• Revive — Empties the full cache and returns tiles to the board

GOD POWERS
• Thor's Wrath — Automatically clears the entire board
• Loki's Trick — Transforms tiles into matching pairs for easy clearing
• Freyja's Blessing — Expands your cache tray from 4 to 8 slots

Journey through 40 beautifully illustrated Norse landscapes — from hidden fjords and glacier caves to mead halls and volcanic shores. Every 15 levels begins a new chapter with its own
quest storyline and progress tracker.

TRIALS OF THE ANIMALS
Ten animal spirit guides — Raven, Wolf, Owl, Stag, Serpent, Bear, Fox, Falcon, Hound, and Hare — each set three challenges at a time. Complete objectives like reaching combo targets,
earning high scores, winning streaks, matching runes, and more. Finish all three to earn rewards including Odin Gold, god powers, Valkyrie's Call revives, and exclusive profile unlocks.

LEAGUES & ODIN GOLD
Compete in daily leagues against 100 players across 22 mythological tiers — from Knotwork all the way to Valkyrie Wings. Earn Odin Gold stars based on your score each game. Finish in
the top 5 to get promoted and win gift rewards. Drop below rank 75 and face demotion. Climb through Aegishjalmur, Vegvisir, Fenrir, Sleipnir, Bifrost, Mjolnir, Yggdrasil, and beyond.
