Ansatz: Film Developing Lab

Your developer doesn't last forever. Ansatz counts your rolls, adjusts your times, and remembers what worked.

Ansatz is a timer and lab journal for developing film, black and white and C-41. It walks you through every step with big digits and agitation cues, logs every session, and does the chemistry math for you: capacity, expiry dates, compensated times per batch.

WHAT ANSATZ DOES
• Step-by-step timer with agitation rhythm and vibration, built for wet hands
• Darkroom red mode: red pixels only, protects your dark adaptation
• Chemistry batches with capacity, shelf life and automatic time compensation
• Push and pull with the arithmetic shown, not an oracle
• Roll log: every roll from shot to archived
• History with ratings and diagnosis tags; good sessions become recipes
• Development times from manufacturer datasheets, every number with its source

All your data stays on your device. No account, no cloud, no ads.

Pro is 8 euros, once. No subscription, ever. If Ansatz saves one roll, it has paid for itself.
