Cave Poet - word guess game!

Cave Poet is similar to many social word-guessing games, with a twist. The clue-giver can only use one-syllable clues to get his/her team to guess the correct word. Guess the easy words for 1 point, or try the hard words for 3 points each.

For example, if the word is "boat", you can say "thing that floats on sea, man ride on it."

But, if you said, "thing that sails on ocean," you lose a point because "ocean" is more than 1 syllable!

Watch your eloquent, English major friends suddenly become Neanderthals because they can't use all their fancy words. Of course, real Neanderthals probably had multi-syllabic words, but this is all for fun.

Like Taboo or similar word games, the clue-giver has 60 seconds to get as many points with their team as possible. After 60 seconds, the opposing team plays, with one person being the clue-giver.

On each card is a 1 point word (easy) or 3 point word phrase (more difficult). The clue giver can either start with the 1 point or 3 point word. If they start with the 1 point word and their team guesses the word, they can try for 3 points or move on to the next card, all by tapping the buttons below.

With no ads and no need for the internet, this is a game that is sure to be a hit both at home, at parties, and on the road or camping trips.

Feedback to the developer is welcome, and new words are added with each release. You are welcome to email the developer with your suggested word lists.
