Five Daily - Gomoku Tactics

A notebook, a daily position, and one hidden first move.

Five Daily is a solo Gomoku tactics app. Play Black's forcing fours and complete five in a row within the move limit. White responds automatically, so you can focus on the next move and understand why it works.

DAILY TACTICS
Everyone receives the same position for the same UTC date. Monday and Tuesday feature three-move puzzles, Wednesday and Thursday four-move puzzles, and Friday through Sunday five-move puzzles. The catalog covers October 5, 2026 to October 4, 2027. Later dates and practice use rotations and reflections of validated catalog positions.

TAP, PREVIEW, TAP AGAIN
Preview a move with one tap and confirm it with a second tap on the same intersection. Incorrect moves do not advance the puzzle. Undo, restart, and explanations of White's defense help you learn.

HINTS AND PRACTICE
Use one free daily hint, study a move-by-move explanation, or try three-, four-, and five-move practice. Revisit the last 14 days; the most recent two days are free.

SHARE WITHOUT SPOILERS
Share a result image or text using your device's share sheet. The image shows the initial position, not the solution. Progress and settings stay on your device.

A QUIET NOTEBOOK
Light and dark themes, distinct black and white stones, and a 130% text-size option.

This is a tactics collection, not online multiplayer or a live opponent. Catalog positions are validated so that Black's overline, double-four, and double-three permissions do not change the answer.

The Android app contains ads. Banner and interstitial ads do not interrupt an unfinished puzzle. Optional extra hints, some archived positions, and extra explanations may offer rewarded ads. Limited interstitials can appear between completed practice or archived puzzles.
