Jikgu - US Import Cost

Compare a purchase by its estimated total cost, not only its item price.

Jikgu separates the card exchange rate from the customs exchange rate, estimates item and international shipping costs, card fees, duty and VAT, and compares the result with a delivered domestic price.

SUPPORTED SCOPE
For personal imports to South Korea: one eligible US-origin order, paid in USD, of ordinary clothing, with clearly separated international shipping and insurance. Other origins, currencies, excluded goods, combined orders, FTA applications and special taxes are not automatically calculated. Unsupported conditions are not presented as zero tax.

YOUR RATES, DATES AND SOURCES
Enter and verify the card rate and customs rate, each with its own date and source. The app does not fetch live or automatic rates. Saved quotations never update rates automatically.

THE USD 200 BOUNDARY
Under the confirmed eligible US list-clearance conditions, merchandise value at or below USD 200 is treated as exempt. Merchandise value includes the discounted item price and local costs; clearly separated international shipping is distinct. From USD 200.01, the full taxable base, not only the excess, is used for estimated duty and VAT. Enter the confirmed tariff for your item; 13% is not a guaranteed rate for all clothing.

ESTIMATES, NOT AN OFFICIAL ASSESSMENT
View item and shipping, card fees, estimated duty and VAT, and additional KRW costs separately. Add a delivered domestic price to see the difference. Components are rounded to whole Korean won; official customs truncation and the final amount charged are not guaranteed.

THREE LOCAL RECORDS
Save up to three quotations on your device without an account. Reopen and change the price or rates yourself. Inputs and records are not sent to a developer server. Share a PNG cost-comparison card through the device share sheet.

OPTIONAL EXTRA COMPARISONS
Basic input, calculation and sharing are free. Compare three card rates as user-selected scenarios, not forecasts; customs rates and taxes remain fixed. Android has banners only on results and records, plus optional rewarded ads for extra comparisons. No input-screen ads or forced interstitials.

This is an independent calculator, not a customs or financial agency. Check current official and card-provider information before purchasing.
