Sadly it messes with the layout of some site viewing even if I'm not extracting from them, which is a pretty bad/confusing glitch, so I disable it most of the time, or it would have gotten 5 stars, but I'm happily impressed otherwise.
I was using it to get past ad and image clutter when I wanted to copy info, but I've switched over to Reader extensions to make copy/paste easier, and so far I note that Abridge won't extract from my Reader View extension. Abridge does not get past paywalls.
The Timeline function seems to be a very worthy tool even if info accuracy must be checked.
I've started to test Summarizers for intelligence and I have to say, that I find this one pretty intelligent so far.
Intelligent things that I think I am seeing.. It seems to skip paragraphs with hypothetical/rhetorical questions. It seems to skip paragraphs that lead with "blanket" wording.. ie. "all" "some(thing)". It seems to skip subindexes though it left the preface word ex. including: ..so it's always good to proofread.
I doubt that you will find this level of intelligent selection in most other Summarizers.
I was hopeful, but for some reason the times I attempted to use it there was no summary available, I might give it another try in some months or so .. saved it as a bookmark .. because this would HELP me SOOO much ...
