2024-07-13 | Ramesh Errabolu | en | I didn't find an option that allows the editor to open inside the browser tab. It opens as a pop-up window. To me being able to open inside the browser with the ability to store either in the local or remote drive is essential. I would like the app to open the editor in a manner similar to another chrome plugin called Papier Without this ability, I find the app simply not useful.

2023-03-09 | Skeletial ([ BIG SHOT ]) | Amazing extension if you want to get some work done on a chromebook. A lot of times I'm sitting in study hall, bored and wasting time, but then I open this up and I'm able to easily get some work done on my websites. Although the real reason I gave it five stars was because the matrix theme is better than any other theme that any other text editor provides. One tiny suggestion I have is the option to toggle between the bigger button gui and the old one, but other than that, I would give this 6 stars if I could!

2023-02-16 | Christophe Hollebeke | I do webdevelopment on my Chromebook for years. Normal i used Caret-editor, but it's not update anymore and have not a lot of functionality, so after searching a lot of time, don't found a good alternative, so last time using VSCode (linux), but this is not ChromeOS friendly and drain my battery (linux/Crostini). Until now, trying TextEditor, and works very well. Okay it missed some functions like Format Document/Beautifying and replace text, but is a good candidate to replace my 'old' Caret-editor and works nicely in ChromeOS. There only a few IDE's on ChromeOS, and the most are outdated or have a lot of bugs, TextEditor is at this moment my favorite. Hope see more functions in the future. Very good work! I like it :-)
