Negami Train

Negami Train is an Augmented Reality (AR) app that transforms your surroundings into an interactive environment for cognitive training. By combining physical movement with focused visual attention, the app offers a playful and modern way to improve spatial orientation.

The app features two distinct exercises. In the first exercise, a virtual origami bird flies through your real-world environment. Your task is to follow its movement by physically rotating and moving your tablet, keeping the bird centered on your screen at all times. This dynamic interaction supports hand-eye coordination, spatial tracking, and focused attention.

In the second exercise, the bird is hidden somewhere in your surroundings. You explore the space with your tablet, scanning carefully to locate the bird. This activity trains your visual exploration and spatial memory in an engaging and natural way.

Both exercises challenge and stimulate your cognitive abilities through movement and perception. You can freely switch between different difficulty presets to adjust the challenge to your personal preferences and progress.

Developed in collaboration with University Hospital Tübingen, Negami Train combines clinical expertise with intuitive design to provide an accessible and motivating training experience for users of all ages. The sessions are short, effective, and ideal for use at home or on the go.

With the optional Negami Train Pro subscription, you gain access to additional features such as performance insights. After each session, you can view a comparison between your actual movement path and the optimal one, helping you understand and improve your performance over time.
