This unique word picture app was specially developed for children with dyslexia, LRS and dyscalculia. It supports them in learning, reading and spelling in a playful and effective way. We place particular emphasis on learning function words in order to strengthen the dyslexic brain's visual imagination when recognizing speech. Function words such as but, and, which, so, etc. are imageless for the creative, visually thinking brain (without an inner image in contrast to a book, which immediately calls up an image in the head). They confuse or are not even noticed. This means that they are often written incorrectly and their content is not recognized. Every text consists of over 50% function words. They play a crucial role in determining the precise meaning of reading. They are not only important in German, but also in word problems in math and in rehearsal tasks. This applies not only to the written but also to the spoken. Understanding these words is also important in foreign languages, e.g. he, her, his, him. That's why all function words are also listed in English. By grasping these words, even dyslexics create a film in their heads while reading. Main functions:


• Flashcards: Children can learn and practice important function words with interactive flashcards. This method promotes the visual internalization of word-picture concepts in an entertaining and effective way. The cards are worked through regularly to train memory and increase learning success.


• Cloze text: Here children choose the correct word from a selection of 4 options and insert it into the gap in the sentence. This feature activates the understanding of the function words within sentence structures and improves the correct use of the function words.


• Recognize words: Train children to recognize the correct word from a selection by tapping on the appropriate function word. This function increases reading ability and word recognition in a playful way.


Additional functions:


• Difficulty adjustment: The app offers flexible difficulty levels that can be adjusted depending on the child's progress and learning level. This keeps learning challenging, but never overwhelming.


• Timer function: With the integrated timer, parents or children can determine how long they practice. This helps to establish a regular learning routine with fixed time management.
