Examples include dangerous potholes, broken streetlights, dirty playgrounds, or barriers for people with disabilities. The goal is to streamline reporting and support local administrations in addressing problems.

How it works: determine your location automatically via GPS or enter it manually, describe the issue, and submit the report. The administration informs you of processing status through the Maerker portal using a simple traffic-light system. Reports can also be submitted directly on the homepage. Participating Brandenburg municipalities are listed at maerker.brandenburg.de; if your city is not listed, contact the local authority at www.service.brandenburg.de/Kommunen. You can receive updates by email or via the portal, and the editorial team may review submissions for legal reasons or content suitability.
