NavXS Navigation Bar Buttons

NavXS adds customizable on-screen navigation buttons to selected Android apps.

Some apps hide the system navigation bar, use fullscreen layouts, or make standard navigation controls hard to reach. NavXS helps by placing a small, configurable navigation overlay on top of the apps you choose.

Unlike a global navigation overlay, NavXS is designed to appear only where you actually need it. You can decide exactly in which installed apps the additional buttons should be shown and leave all other apps unchanged.

NavXS lets you keep your normal Android experience clean while enabling additional navigation controls only for selected apps.

You can add familiar navigation actions such as Back, Home and Recent Apps as floating buttons, position them where they are easiest to reach, and adjust the appearance to match your preference.

## App selection

NavXS lets you decide exactly where the overlay should appear. You can enable it only for specific apps and leave all other apps unchanged.

## Accessibility service usage

NavXS uses the Android Accessibility Service API to provide navigation actions such as Back, Home and Recent Apps through the overlay buttons.

The accessibility service is required because Android does not allow normal apps to trigger these system navigation actions without this permission.

NavXS does not use the accessibility service to read personal content, collect typed text, monitor private communication, analyze screen contents, or track user behavior.

The service is used only to detect the currently active app and to perform the navigation actions requested by the user.

## Installed apps permission

NavXS may need access to the list of installed apps so you can choose in which apps the overlay should be shown.

This is used only for app selection and configuration inside NavXS.

## Privacy

NavXS is built to provide a local navigation overlay. The app does not need an account and does not require personal data for its core function.
