The Rendsburg App is the official digital link between the City of Rendsburg and its residents. Whether it’s the trash collection schedule, construction projects, road closures, city events, or last-minute updates from city hall—relevant news is delivered directly to your phone via push notifications. No detours, no sign-up required.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

The Rendsburg App requires no registration, no user account, and no tracking. We do not collect real names, location data, or login information. The only technical requirements are a pseudonymous device token (so that push notifications arrive) and your category settings.

Hosting takes place exclusively on servers in Germany and the EU, in full compliance with the GDPR. You can find all details in our privacy policy at www.rendsburg.de/datenschutz.

TRANSPARENT AND OPEN

The Rendsburg App is an open-source project and is available to the general public under the EUPL 1.2 on opencode.de. Anyone can view, review, and reuse the source code—other municipalities are expressly invited to build upon it on the same basis.
