PocketCoach

PocketCoach is your digital bowling coach for your pocket. The app simulates
ball behavior on real oil patterns and instantly shows you the best line,
the right ball from your bag, and concrete tips on how to adapt as the lane
transitions.

➤ Physics simulation
3-phase release model with skid, hook and roll phase. Photo/video
calibrators determine your rotation axis (PAP), ball speed and rev
rate from your own recordings.

Tap the standing pins → the app computes the optimal line and shows
board position, target arrow and laydown point. Optional "Optimum"
quick button next to "Throw" — one tap, ready line.

➤ Ball recommendation
From your stored equipment, the app picks the right ball for the

After a few throws, the coach shows how to adjust your feet, target

Which lane conditions does your arsenal cover — and where are the
gaps or overlaps? The analysis places your balls on a scale from
"dry" to "heavy oil".

➤ Ball comparison
Compare several stored balls on the same lane at once — colored
trails + comparison table with every key figure.

➤ Ball library with over 1400 balls
From 11 major brands (Storm, Roto Grip, Hammer, Motiv, Brunswick,
DV8, Track, Columbia 300, 900 Global, Ebonite, Radical), each with
photo and specifications. Optionally updatable from the web on tap.

➤ 92 oil pattern presets
From house patterns to the complete PBA Animal Series (Wolf, Cheetah,
Viper, Chameleon, Scorpion, Shark, Bear) to sport and flat patterns.
Custom patterns can be imported as PDF, JSON or CSV.

➤ Lane condition + oil profile
Adjustable warm-up throws simulate the lane after several squads.
The oil profile shows volume, ratio and oil distribution across
the lane width.

➤ Coach mode "rule of 31"
Optional. Translates pattern length into a recommended target arrow.

See your ball path from above or in 3D. Stance, target arrow and
board can be dragged directly on screen.
