The Mini Colorbench

The Mini Colorbench is a local-first companion for miniature painters. A workshop tool for the moment between coats — built by a painter, for painters.

WHAT IT DOES

• Palette Browser — 96 hand-curated 5-colour palettes, filterable by mood (Warm / Cool / Mystic / Sour / Happy / Sad), genre (Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Grimdark / Historical / Horror / Mythic), and archetype.

• Palette Detail — every chip maps to real paint recommendations across 9 brands: Citadel, Vallejo, Scale75, Reaper, Formula P3, Coat d'Arms, Two Thin Coats, Pro Acryl, The Army Painter. Pinch-zoom + swipe between palettes; tap any colour for cross-brand alternatives.

• Paint Collection — mark which paints you own across the full 1399-paint catalogue. Owned-paint badges appear across every palette so you know at a glance what you can mix today.

• Cross-brand equivalents — find what you can substitute from another brand on every individual paint detail page. Match-percentage shown so you can judge "close enough" yourself.

• Projects — save palettes to projects (miniatures, units, armies) with notes and mix recipes. Ten-model batches stay consistent.

• Your stats (local only) — your most-owned brand, most-viewed palette, palette views this month. Computed on-device; nothing leaves your phone.

• Anonymous Community Stats (opt-in, off by default) — see what paints other miniature painters in the community are tracking. Counts only — no names, no IPs, no project content.

• In-app feedback — Settings → Send feedback. We read every message. App version, Android version, and device model are included so we can reproduce bugs.

WHO IT'S FOR

Hobby painters working with real paints on real models. If you paint Space Marines, Stormcast, Orks, Tyranids, Eldar, Necrons, Wardens, Stormbringers, AoS, 40k, Old World, historicals, or your own thing — this is for your workbench, not your PC.

OFFLINE-FIRST

• Local-first — palettes, paints, project notes never leave your phone unless you opt in.
• No account, no login, no ads.
• No telemetry by default — optional opt-in for anonymous community stats only.
