In addition to all the great opportunities and opportunities offered by a smartphone and the Internet, there are unfortunately also risks that we can minimize right at the beginning. For us Rhinelander Rhineland is often the saying: "Et would have emmer joot jejange!" Or "Et kutt as et kutt!" But when it comes to our children, we see things quickly realistically again - but please not pessimistic !

We at Paidimo are convinced that children who have been informed of these risks in an age-appropriate manner are less at risk of becoming victims of cyberbullying, grooming and the like. And our experience shows that a shocking chain letter (you remember Momo?) Only makes for a tired smile.

That's why we sat down with media educators and parents and created a template in the form of an app that you can use to talk to your child about the potential risks and set the rules. In addition, it was important to us to formulate these rules positively (ie less with the raised index finger) and also to explain the "why". Thereby we reach more understanding with the children what brings a greater willingness to implement.

You can use our standard contract drawn up with media educators and adapt them individually or pick individual, for you important aspects, directly from our rules catalog.

Together, you sign your contract and have it with you on your smartphone or print the colorful copy and attach it to the fridge or the nursery. ;)


P.S .: You and we found the word media usage contract just too bulky. That's why we simply gave the child the name "family contract".

Did you know that media educators recommend with the beginning of the mobile phone / tablet use such a media use contract over the duration, length, content and type of use playfully with his child to work out and fix? Because fixed rules can be implemented much better in the long term.
