Today I got a mobile data usage warning for the first time in ages and when I looked into it, my phone claims c0nnect PRO has used 221GB over the last 30 days. Compare this to all prior months I have data for where the application used less than < 1GB. I would love to hear from the developers about why this might be.

Pro as in more options, not as in more money. Mind blown. (iow-- there is a 'simple' version of the app, but it just locks some advanced options) More than a bare bones client: Has some behavioral, customization, and file transfer security settings, as well as in-chat search, links, and media summery.
