smartcor is a telemedicine platform connecting you with qualified cardiologists. Upload ECG recordings from your compatible smart device and receive professional medical consultation from experienced cardiac specialists.

How it works:
Submit ECG recordings from your compatible device (e.g., Apple Watch, Fitbit, or other certified ECG devices) through the app. Our licensed cardiologists will review your submission and provide their professional medical opinion.

Important: smartcor requires an external ECG-capable device to function. The app serves exclusively as a communication platform connecting you with medical professionals. The app does not perform any measurements or automated analysis.

FAQ

How do I submit my ECG?
Create an ECG recording with a compatible device and upload it via smartcor. Compatible devices include: Apple Watch (Series 4+), Fitbit Sense/Sense 2, Fitbit Charge 5, Google Pixel Watch, KardiaMobile, Withings Scanwatch, and other mobile ECG devices with PDF export. Ensure your device has ECG CE certification for European markets.

What does the service cost?
Fees follow the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ). Costs range from €37.26 to €47.59 maximum, depending on complexity and time required (including €10.72 per case fee).

How do I pay?
Payment is by invoice. We require your complete address for billing.

Insurance reimbursement?
Statutory health insurance reimbursement is currently unavailable. Private insurance holders may submit invoices to their provider as billing follows GOÄ standards. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.

What information is required?
Registration requires only an email address. To provide our service, we also need your postal address and ECG recording. All data is handled confidentially per GDPR.

Can I use smartcor in emergencies?
NO. smartcor is explicitly NOT for emergency situations. For acute symptoms (shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, anxiety, loss of consciousness), call emergency services (112) immediately. This platform is exclusively for non-urgent medical consultation regarding ECG recordings. Acute cardiovascular events like heart attack, stroke, or ventricular fibrillation cannot be reliably detected. If you suspect a serious condition, seek immediate medical attention.
