The msuTIMER

All entrepreneurs in the EU must record and document the working hours of their employees.

Filling out timesheets by hand and then transferring them to spreadsheets is time-consuming and therefore expensive — no entrepreneur likes to do that, because nobody wants more administration, right?

But we hadn't previously recorded the working hours either. But since we came out of a tax audit with a black eye many years ago, we record and document all working hours so that this never happens to us again.

In order not to manage ourselves to death, we have integrated a digital employee file with timekeeping into the msu software.

The employees record the working times in the msuTIMER or the msuStechuhr with just one click. These are then automatically transferred to the msu software.

Due to the judgment of the European Court of Justice of May 19, 2019, it is no longer enough if it says somewhere that the employee was there from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. That is not correct (anymore).

• Document working hours and NON-working hours (breaks, holidays, sick leave).

The employees also report the NON-working hours easily and GDPR-compliant via msuTIMER.

In addition, you must also record and document all overtime of your employees.

Therefore, the employees in msuTIMER record not only the actual times, but also the target times (planning). Alternatively, you can create the planning for your employees in the msu software.

Using the msu software, you can then create reports for the payroll office or checking reimbursements from the health insurance companies with a click — time-consuming administration of employees is a thing of the past and only takes a few minutes a month with msuTIMER.

By the way, even if your employees record their working times with the msuTIMER on their cell phones, with the msu software the data always belongs to you. Regardless of whether your msu software runs on Macs, Windows or in a private cloud, no third party has access to your data.
